This workshop has a part dedicated to Thinface topics.
The workshop complements traditional topics for the series (growth, vibrations, surface chemistry…) with timely subjects: this edition, emphasis will be on the properties of hybrid organic-inorganic interfaces.

Advanced topics in physics and materials engineering
The faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Sciences moved to a new campus in 2014. They received several Investment grants and house new lab facilities. We would like to explore their new facilities and possibilities for collaborations.

The summer school is organized by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), and the Nanoscience Research Center nanoGUNE. The number of participants will be limited to no more than 75-100. The summer school will be held in a seaside palace in the scenic city of San Sebastian.
