Interface Properties in Organic Electronics (IPOE 2017)

IPOE-2017 will be entirely devoted to the physical phenomena occurring at organic/organic, organic/inorganic and organic/metallic interfaces, as motivated by their essential role in many (bio-)physico-chemical processes, ranging from solar energy conversion to biosensing. The conference will cover a large range of areas related to both experimental and theoretical aspects of these processes. New insights are expected to emerge from this conference, providing additional design criteria for novel materials fulfilling optimized interfacial properties, along with key challenges for future research.
Egbert Zojer has an invited talk and Shashank will contribute with a talk as well.

100 % Climate Neutrality

Climate change is having an increasingly strong impact on the Earth and our future on it. By 2050, the majority of the world’s population will live in cities, which will result in far more global greenhouse gas emissions than ever before. In the German/Danish region, we take this challenge as an opportunity to act and cope with a changing surrounding.

Both Denmark and Germany focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, which requires planning —not only on a city level, but also an industrial level. New areas of investment are appearing, and industry is undergoing a major transformation. To highlight the necessary changes, this years climate neutrality conference will focus on new developments and strategies.

We aim to bring decision makers, researchers and industry representatives together to identify future ways of reaching 100% climate neutrality. Attendees are invited to enter a dialogue about the best solutions for reaching their climate goals on city, regional and national levels.
